Surface Contaminants & Deterioration: The presence of accumulated grime, biofilm, and pollutants on concrete surfaces necessitated thorough mechanical preparation before coatings and repairs could be applied. Strong Chemical Concentrate: Due to the nature of the chemical in the tanks, the bund had to be able to withstand it. AQL, in partnership with suppliers, specified a system which would be more than capable of dealing with the chemical and its concentrate. Dust- Due to the nature of abrasive blasting, specialised dust extraction units were in place to remove dust from the tank.
