Project Overview
AQL was engaged to complete active water stopping to utility ducts in Intel, County Kildare. Ground water was traveling within the utility ducts and around the pipe penetrations, which was in turn flooding the manhole chambers. AQL used specialised water stopping methods to stop these leaks and seal the chambers.

Scope of works
AQL carried out waterproofing and active water stopping methods, including: Sealing Ducts- A duct sealing system was used to stop the heavy waterflow through the utility ducts. The ducts were sealed at both ends with a method that can be shaped around all services running within the ducts to give a 100% seal. Sealing Pipe Penetrations- Crack injection was then used to stop water leaks around the pipe penetrations and prevent water ingress into the chambers.
